وأنا أدخل باب الجبانة واجهتني الحفرة كجرح نازف

قال : تشابهت علي القبور فأشرت عليهم بهذا ، وأشار إلى الحفرة التي حوت قبر الرجل الذي عاد الثوار فذبحوه بعدما غادر جيش فرنسا الحي
وقال : لقد ضرب له ضابط ، سلام تعظيم ، بعدما غلفوا الصندوق الذي حوى رفاته بعلم الوطن .
